Cathy Favre is the Project Manager for the Newfoundland and Labrador Angel Network (NLAN), www.nlan.nl.ca. NLAN connects Newfoundland and Labrador entrepreneurs with local angel investors who provide the capital and mentorship needed for high growth companies to succeed.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics, Cathy has built a progressive career and is extensively involved in the community on a professional and personal level. Cathy has over 15 years experience in business with extensive experience in the technology, eLearning and training sectors.
Before joining NLAN, Cathy held a number of senior executive positions for a number of companies in Canada and the US providing products and services globally to clients such as Microsoft Corporation (Global Headquarters, Redmond, Washington) and the World Bank (Global Headquarters, Washington, DC).
Cathy's "passion" for Newfoundland and Labrador combined with her business savvy provide the combination of attributes that has helped shape and lead her career. At NLAN, Cathy puts all these attributes to work to help "bridge the capital gap" for local companies and foster an investment culture in Newfoundland and Labrador. |
