Profile: David Rozin


David Rozin is a Senior Account Manager with the Royal Bank of Canada’s Knowledge Based Industries (KBI), Information Technology Banking Group. David’s field of focus covers all related areas within the information technology & technology sectors including software, hardware, advanced manufacturing and clean technology.

With over ten years of experience in financial services, David has held a variety of positions spanning brokerage services, mutual and segregated funds,  insurance and mortgage lending. While in pursuit of his Master’s degree, David acted as President of the Impact Consulting Group and recently completed his duties as a member of its Board of Directors.   David holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

As part of the KBI team, David provides a broad range of solutions to his clients such as lending (including SR&ED loans), investments, cash management, foreign exchange and day to day banking, leveraging his experience to provide sound financial and strategic advice. His portfolio of clients range from early stage to large public and private corporations, some of whom are considered Canada’s more recognizable brands in the Technology sectors.

David is an active member in a number of technology related associations and events including CleanTech and the Canadian Venture Capital Association, and recently sat on the judge’s panel for the Drayton Weissenfels Clean 15 Competition sponsored by Canadian Business magazine. David was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Angel Capital Association (NACO). The NACO is Canada's industry association for angel investors, dedicated to promoting best practices and connectivity in relation to innovation and early-stage capital formation in Canada.
