At the outset, the goals of the ANP were:

• A substantial increase in Angel and pre-seed/seed stage investment in Ontario;
• An increase in the number of start-up companies that successfully expand their operations, due to improved business-management capacity and investment levels; and
• Improved networking among potential partners in commercialization activities across all sectors.

Our Angel investor groups intend:

• To mobilize an even greater number of Angel investors across Ontario to join and participate in organized early-stage investing activities;
• To pre-screen an even greater number of innovative Ontarian companies for possible investment;
• To participate in many more rounds of investment in Ontarian companies generating skilled employment.
